Super danceable and a tad melancholic, Hercules & Love Affair is the debut album by the queer New York trio founded by DJ and producer Andy Butler. One of the key members is out lesbian Kim Ann who spins the words for some of the best tracks (Blind, Athene). Kim and Andy were heavily involved in the club culture for several years, and it shows. With fantastic results.
